Aurelija Ðan

founder, psychologist i psychotherapist

Aurelija Đan is a psychologist and psychotherapist who harbors a profound passion for exploring our true essence. Through integrating various approaches such as gestalt techniques, body work, meditative practices, and mindfulness, Aurelija assists her clients in confronting past wounds rather than hiding from them, and finding authentic paths of expression for their true nature. Her focus lies in working with developmental, complex traumas, and the difficulties stemming from them: post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, various spiritual crises, as well as challenges in interpersonal relationships. She has extensive experience working with various marginalized populations such as the LGBT+ community, women who have survived violence, and refugees. She strongly believes in the potential of psychedelics as a crucial factor in the future development of psychotherapy, considering them valuable tools in assisting with various mental difficulties. Aurelija holds a National Certificate in Psychotherapy and has also completed MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies) training specialized for psychotherapists who will be qualified to conduct MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD treatment.

Dr Siniša Birovljev

Siniša Birovljev M.D.(1955) from Belgrade, retired general and cardiovascular surgery specialist. He spent his working life at the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases "Dedinje". On several occasions he stayed, studied and worked in well-known medical centers in the world in the USA, France, Norway and Kuwait. Member of several domestic and foreign professional associations, published over 80 papers and announcements at professional meetings and in specialized magazines. Versatility, persistence and love for discovering new things have contributed to the development of interest in neuroscience, philosophy and consciousness research in scientific and contemplative frameworks. Personal experiences with altered states of consciousness gained during many years of meditative practice contributed to the interest in the potential of psychedelics in medicine and personal development. The knowledge gained by following the almost eruptive development of IT and neuroimaging technologies at the beginning of the 21st century inspires hope that their practical application in the future could reach the level of a new civilizational heritage. Such considerations certainly justify personal involvement in this new area of ​​interest.

Prof. Dr Maja T. Iskjerdo

Prof. Dr. Maja T. Iskjerdo, originally from Belgrade and Peru, spent most of her childhood in the Amazon rainforest in Peru. At the age of twenty, she began living with the Asháninka tribe, where she learned about their culture and entheogenic plants. This early contact with the Amazon became the inspiration for her later life. She graduated from the University of Belgrade with a degree in Landscape Architecture and later pursued a master’s degree in Biotechnical Sciences at the same university, which enabled her to conduct scientific research on Amazonian plants. Her education continued in Spain, at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the University of La Laguna, where she earned degrees in Architecture and Psychology, followed by a master’s degree in Architecture and Art History. These studies further deepened her interest in the unconscious and the mystical aspects of architecture, ultimately leading to her doctoral dissertation in the field of architectural theory, titled “Nature and Mysticism in the Materialization of Architecture, with Reference to the Works of Rudolf Steiner and Buckminster Fuller.” Prof. Iskjerdo was also part of a research team at the Catholic University of Peru, where she studied Amazonian anthropology. Later, she pursued clinical psychology in Belgrade and transpersonal psychology in Barcelona. Today, Maja lives and works between Serbia and Peru and serves as a full professor at the Faculty of Architecture, Union University – Nikola Tesla, where she continues to merge her rich multicultural heritage with her academic pursuits.

Jelica Milojičić

Jelica Milojičić holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and is a final-year PhD student in psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, where she also completed her undergraduate and master studies and is currently employed as a research associate. Her main research interests include the effects of mindfulness meditation and the role of psychedelics in human functioning. In addition to her academic work, Jelica is undergoing training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), striving to integrate science and practice in her professional approach. She is particularly interested in the integration of mindfulness and the exploration of psychedelics as potential tools for improving mental health. She believes in the effectiveness of psychedelics in addressing psychological difficulties and advocates for their strictly controlled use, guided by scientific research and ethical principles.
